Turn the board into a plan
A vision board is the "why". Research on mental imagery suggests the "how" is what moves people: in a study by Pham and Taylor (1999), students who pictured themselves studying for an exam did better than students who pictured themselves getting the top grade. Gabriele Oettingen's research found that dreaming about a positive future on its own can even lower effort, while pairing the dream with the obstacle in the way raises it.

Is this vision board maker really free?
Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no paid tier. You can make as many boards as you like and download them as PNG files or print them.
Where are my photos stored?
In your own browser (localStorage). Photos you upload are shrunk and saved on this device only; they are never uploaded to our server. Clearing your browser data or using the Clear button on the privacy page removes them.
How does the AI image option work?
You describe the picture you want, for example "a cabin by a lake in autumn", and an image model creates one for the selected tile. Your description is sent to the image model to create the picture; nothing else is. It is limited to 4 images per hour to keep the tool free.
What size should a digital vision board be?
Pick "Phone wallpaper" (1080 × 1920) if you want to see it every time you unlock your phone, "Desktop wallpaper" (1920 × 1080) for your computer, "Square" for sharing, or "Print" for an A4 or Letter page.
Do vision boards actually work?
Pictures on their own do not make things happen. Research by Pham and Taylor (1999) found that imagining the steps toward a goal helped more than imagining the result. Oettingen's work suggests pairing a dream with an honest look at obstacles. So a board works best as a reminder that links to real actions: habits, a SMART goal and a plan.
Can I make more than one board?
Yes. Use "+ New board" to keep separate boards, for example one for the year and one for a trip. Switch between them with the Board menu.
